Tuesday, March 8th, 2005My wife and I were talking at the breakfast table this morning: if we had the means, we would create a new reality show. It would feature foreign travel, international espionage, and political intrigue, immersing the viewer in new sights and exotic locations. Players would include bungling arms inspectors, motivated but skeptical foreign investigators, an insular and self-serving political system, honest, hardworking peasants victimized by political games they care nothing about, and idealistic young people ready to die for the right to protect the culture they love. And the best part: the story would have no end!
We’d call it “Finding Osama”
