It is a sobering list, and belies the notion of the United States as a peaceful nation. Even the Soviet Union never sent their soldiers beyond their soil with such frequency and regularity. The sad thing is that so many young men and women who have signed up to defend their country instead end up being used for purposes that have nothing to do with defending America. It dishonors them, and is a national disgrace.
