Humanity's impact on the planet is quite a complex problem which possibly affects  every natural function on Earth. If you mess with both the air and the water, is there anything that is not endangered?

		<description>I haven't seen &lt;i&gt;An Inconvenient Truth&lt;/i&gt; yet, but I wonder if it touches upon a more insidious problem, and less obvious one: global dimming. The phenomenon has been downplaying the global warming issue because with global dimming (polution blocking the total amount of sunlight reaching the earth's surface) there is less heat reaching the planet. This may seem like a good thing considering global warming, but with less sunlight reaching the surface, water evaporation is decreasing and photosynthesis has less material to work with.

There is a lot going on with the interplay of these two polution-related phenomena, I suggest you look it up.</description>
